Can I use Hindi or Bengali watermark text?
Not yet — the built-in PDF font supports English and Latin characters only, so Hindi/Bengali text (for example गोपनीय or গোপনীয়) shows a clear error instead of corrupt characters. Indic-language watermark support is planned; meanwhile use English text such as CONFIDENTIAL.
Will the marked file become too large to upload to ICEGATE?
No. Watermarking adds only small text layers, so a typical marked PDF stays close to its original size — comfortably under the standard attachment limits for ICEGATE e-filing and e-SANCHIT uploads. Very large scanned documents are the only case where size could be a concern.
